Camelbeach Slated to Open June 16; Season Passes Now Available
Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark, the award-winning family summer play destination at Camelback Resort in the Pocono Mountains, is slated to open for the summer season on Friday, June 16. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor waterpark will introduce its newest attraction — Rival Racer — where sliders race each other through twists and turns on enclosed tracks. Camelback’s 25th season will continue to entertain its guests with 38 exciting slides and rides. Seasonal Early Bird 2023 Waterpark Unlimited Passes and Value Passes are now available.
The new season Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark Unlimited Pass is $109 and is valid for seven days a week. Value Passes are $89 each and include admission Monday through Friday. Both passes feature perks and savings including complimentary general parking, discounts for lodging, food and beverages and discounted $30 guest day passes to Camelbeach and Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, consistently voted USA Today’s #1 Indoor Waterpark. In addition, all Camelbeach season pass holders will receive a $5 savings on the Express Pass, which allows visitors to fast track to the front of the line at Rival Racer, High Noon Typhoon, Triple Venom, Titan and Dune Racer waterpark attractions.
The new Rival Racer is designed for sliders who want to compete and race to the bottom of a slide that rushes 5,600 gallons of water per minute down a 400-foot slide with a vertical drop of 54 feet of eight twisting, turning, dropping, closed individual chutes — all converging at three different rallying points and at the finish line. Rival Racer is sure to become a favorite challenge, along with Titan, the world’s largest waterslide of its kind; Blue Nile Adventure River with its exhilarating waterfalls; High Noon Typhoon that soars over treetops; and Pharoah’s Phortress that allows a family of up to eight to negotiate separate water slides.
Camelback Resort has modernized its website, logo and signature signage and messengering, and continues to upgrade its user-friendly app that allows guests to connect, recharge and explore the resort. The app is helpful to travelers as they make plans to visit Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark with its interactive beach area perfect for toddlers, to book its cabanas and reserved seating at the Kahuna Lagoon Wavepool and to discover the eating and drinking options available including food trucks, Graffiti Pizza, Big Family Pocono Family Eatery and more. The website and app allow guests to book visits to award-winning Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, to outdoor ziplining adventures and to reserve accommodations at Camelback Lodge with its 453 recently refreshed guest suites.
