CELEBRATING THANKSGIVING IN NAPA VALLEY STYLE AT SILVERADO RESORT AND SPA
Annual Tree Lighting Slated for Friday, November 25
Silverado Resort and Spa, in the heart of Napa Valley wine country, is an ideal location to savor Thanksgiving feasts amidst tree lined golf greens and rolling hills. Offerings include a Traditional Thanksgiving Buffet in the resort’s luxurious Mansion Ballroom or on the beautiful Mansion Fairway Deck; Thanksgiving specials in Silverado’s signature restaurant, The Grill, along with its customary menu; and Thanksgiving To-Go From Silverado Market & Bakery, available for pick-up on November 23. Then, to begin the Christmas holiday season, the resort’s festive Tree Lighting will take place on Friday, November 25, in the evening on the Mansion Lawn in front of the resort.
Traditional Thanksgiving Buffet in the Mansion Ballroom and on Fairway Deck
Thursday, November 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., seatings every half hour
This grand classic Thanksgiving Buffet is held in the magnificent Mansion Ballroom and on the adjoining scenic Fairway Deck. Guests may start with Honeynut Squash Soup with crème fraiche and salted pepitas, Artisanal Cheeses and Local & Imported Charcuterie. There will be Spinach & Mascarpone Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms; a lavish Seafood Display featuring prawns, oysters, crab, clams, scallops and langoustine; Baby Beet Salad; Twice Baked Delicata Squash with toasted meringue; and Brussels Sprouts with pancetta and almonds. For hearty appetites, Roasted Diestel Ranch Turkey, Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Butter Poached Maine Lobster and Pumpkin Gnocchi with apples, chestnut and sage will be served. Tri-Color Sweet Potatoes, Bacon Sourdough Stuffing, Potato Puree, Heirloom Baby Carrots and Brandy Cranberry Sauce are wonderful sides. For sweetness, there will be Assorted Pies, Cakes and Petit Fours.

Thanksgiving To-Go From Silverado Market & Bakery
Orders must be placed by Friday, November 18, and pick-ups are on Wednesday, November 23, at The Mansion.
For those who want to enjoy a Silverado Resort traditional Thanksgiving meal at another location sharing with friends and family, the culinary team will be offering Family Style Thanksgiving To-Go that serves six to eight people. It includes Whole Roasted Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Green Bean Casserole with mushroom velouté and crispy onions, Cranberry Sauce, a Dozen Dinner Rolls and TraditionalGravy.
Thanksgiving To-Go is $175. Whole Pumpkin or Pecan Pie is an additional $25.
Tree Lighting Festivities at Silverado Resort’s Mansion Lawn
Friday, November 25, from 6 to 7 p.m.
The day after Thanksgiving is the official Silverado Resort Tree Lighting and the prelude to the celebration of the jolly Christmas season. Managing Director Todd Shallon will emcee this exciting festivity on the Mansion Lawn. A local choir will provide singing entertainment, and Santa himself accompanied by his elves will arrive and give out candy canes. Cocoa and cookies are complimentary. Alcoholic hot toddies are available at a charge. To conclude the Tree Lighting ceremony, a lucky child will be chosen to flip the switch to let the tree shine.
