South Bay Performers Entertain on the Sunset Bluff at Nelson’s, Oceanfront Views of Catalina and Entertaining Evenings Outdoors
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. — Starting Friday, May 31, with a memorable concert performed by 80z All Stars, Terranea Resort launches its exciting 28-performance annual summer Sound Series — held on the Sunset Bluff at Nelson’s. The Series starts on May 31 and is held every Friday and Saturday night with doors opening at 6 p.m. and live music from 7 to 10 p.m. Max 80s concludes the series on August 31. Featured are South Bay’s best tribute, country, reggae and classic rock bands. And there’s dancing in the evening air along the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
The family-friendly summer Sound Series delights destination travelers from all over the world, as well as regional and local music lovers of all ages who want to enjoy good times oceanfront, fantastic Pacific sunsets, excellent coastal fare, California wines, local microbrews, expertly crafted blended cocktails from Nelson’s and al fresco dining all near the bluff stage. Favorite menu highlights available for concertgoers include Shrimp Kabobs, Mexican Street Corn, Bratwurst Pretzel Dog, Asada Quesadilla, Sound Series Burger and more.
In addition to Nelson’s music lovers and guests can enjoy nightly live entertainment at 7 p.m. and sip hand-crafted cocktails at the Lobby Bar and Veuve Clicquot Terrace.
The Sound Series at Nelson’s at Terranea Resort happens every Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and live music is from 7 to 10 p.m. The line-up follows:

General admission for the public is $30, exclusive of food and beverages plus 20% service charge, tax and processing fees during check-out. Resort guests are complimentary. Private cabanas are available for $500 (admission for eight guests included), plus tax and processing fees during booking. A 20% service charge will be added to the final bill at the time of the event.
