Renaissance Esmeralda Resort Thanksgiving Buffet in Cava Restaurant

Thursday, November 25, from 2 to 9 p.m.

This beautiful and bountiful gourmet Thanksgiving Buffet in Cava Restaurant will feature an Artisan Bread Display offering sourdough, baguettes, focaccia, lavosh, grissini and sweet butter. The Cheese Display includes a selection of California cheeses with local honey, olives, chutneys, dried fruit and nuts. Sushi Bar has handrolls, maki, nigiri and seaweed salad. Cold Bar tempts with aguachile, poke, chilled seafood and sauces. There will be Caramelized Butternut Squash Soup and Salads galore, such as Poached Pear Salad with wild rocket, endive, candied pecans, shallots and cranberry dressing. For the Mains, Salmon with lemon cream and olives, Butternut Squash Ravioli and Vegetable Strudel with quinoa and pomegranate gastrique. There is also a selection of perfectly prepared vegetable sides. From the Carving Station, Herb Roasted Turkey, Prime Rib with Yorkshire pudding and Glazed Ham with caramelized pineapple. The Dessert Bar proffers luscious sweets for all — pumpkin pie, apple cobbler, pecan pie, cheesecake, cookies, tarts, bread pudding, ice cream and an unforgettable donut wall. Complimentary hot chocolate and sparkling wine available with adult buffet.

Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go from Renaissance Esmeralda Resort

Orders for curbside pick-up must be placed by Monday, November 22, and pick-up is on Thursday, November 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For those who prefer to have a delectable Thanksgiving feast to enjoy at home or somewhere else with friends and family, the resort comes to the rescue and takes care of all the planning, shopping and careful preparation by offering a sensational holiday meal for curbside pick-up.

All Main Courses include bread and butter, two salads, two sides and two desserts. The Main Courses are an 18 to 20 lb. Herb-Roasted Turkey with sage gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffing, $290 and serves six to eight guests; 8 to10 lb. Prime Rib with Yorkshire pudding, pan drippings and horseradish cream, $350 and serves six to eight guests; Glazed Ham with caramelized pineapple and whole grain mustard demi-glace, $160 and serves six to eight guests; and Vegetable Strudel with fall vegetables, quinoa and pomegranate gastrique, $130 and serves four to six guests. Breads include sourdough and focaccia. Salads are Bibb Lettuce Salad with blue cheese and roasted acorn squash and Poached Pear Salad. Sides are Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Sauteed Haricots Verts. And the two desserts are Apple Cobbler and Pecan Pie.

Martini Holiday Cocktails

Adult guests can toast to the season with specially created Martini Holiday Cocktails: Gingerbread Man Martini made with Kettle One, Baileys and Kahlua topped with whipped cream and crushed gingerbread crumbs; and Candy Cane Martini concocted with vodka, white creme de menthe and Chambord with a crushed candy cane rim.

10 Days of Esmeralda

For couples, friends and families, Renaissance Esmeralda presents “10 Days of Esmeralda” holiday experiences where a different activity is featured each day from Thursday, December 23, through Sunday, January 2, 2022. Festive events include: Christmas Brunch with Santa on Saturday, December 25; gingerbread house decorating; family-fun train rides in the lobby terrace; cookie decorating at Camp Esmeralda; paint hour for adults: caricature artist at The Place; New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet; and more.

10 Days of Esmeralda Package

This festive holiday getaway package includes: a welcome amenity of cookies, milk and a holiday book; $100 credit per night; and lots of 10 Days of Esmeralda fun-filled activities available for the entire family.
