NAPA, Calif. — Silverado Resort, in the heart of scenic Napa Valley, kicks off the holiday season with its ultra-luxurious Thanksgiving Buffet in the resort’s elegant Ballroom and on its Fairway Deck, along with a traditional three-course dinner at The Grill, the resort’s signature restaurant. The festivities continue throughout Thanksgiving weekend with Silverado’s Annual Tree Lighting on Friday, the Santa Train for families on the weekends and Breakfast with Santa on Saturdays. Annual Thanksgiving Buffet in Silverado Resort’s Ballroom and Fairway Deck

This luxe holiday event has become a tradition for family and friends from far and near and will be deliciously memorable to those savoring the Thanksgiving festivities at iconic Silverado Resort. For the beginning of the meal, guests enjoy Sugar Pie Pumpkin Soup; Local and Imported Cheeses and Charcuterie; Seafood Display of oysters, prawns, snow crab claws with accompanying sauces; Spinach Salad with cranberry, pecan, feta, bacon, apple and maple vinaigrette; and Caesar Salad. Main temptations are Roasted Diestel Family Ranch Turkey, Mustard Roasted Prime Rib and Cedar Plank Roasted King Salmon. There’s a wonderful array of vegetables and side dishes, including Brussels Sprouts with pancetta and almonds, Glazed Baby Carrots, Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms, Pumpkin Gnocchi with ricotta salata, Sweet Potato and Pecan Casserole, Sourdough Stuffing with Italian sausage, Orange Bourbon Cranberry Sauce and more. A traditional and Napa-inspired Three-Course Thanksgiving meal created by Chef Patrick Prager and his team will be served at Silverado Resort’s signature restaurant, The Grill — with its newly refreshed contemporary look and views of the lush golf course. The special celebratory meal includes Brussels Sprouts Salad composed of arugula, candied cranberries, pistachio and Meyer lemon vinaigrette; Free Range Turkey Roulade with bacon and sage velouté, pain perdue, candied carrots and cranberry apple chutney; and Pumpkin Pots de Crème adorned with spiced mascarpone, candied pecans and brown butter streusel.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Mansion Lawn
Friday, November 24, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
To kick off the holiday season, this sparkling family event is complimentary and always a delight for all. Live performances include vocalist Ké Marie, Napa Valley Dance House and the Vintage High School Choir singing holiday carols. Kids will love seeing Santa and his cheerful elves as they take a magical ride around the Mansion Circle aboard the holiday train. They can share their secret lists by writing a letter to St. Nick. Complimentary holiday treats, warm cocoa and coffee will be served, and adults can partake of other drinks at the cash bar.
Admission is open to all and complimentary. Attendees are invited to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots Napa Toy Drive.
Santa Train at Silverado Resort
Saturdays and Sundays from Saturday, November 25, to Sunday, December 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All aboard for Silverado’s Santa Train for real holiday magic! Families are invited to ride the train for a festive journey around the beautifully decorated Mansion Circle with its glittering holiday tree. It’s the perfect way to spark joy and capture cherished holiday memories.

Breakfast with Santa at The Grill
Saturdays from November 25 to December 23, Santa will be at The Grill from 9 to 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Families are invited to share a delightful Breakfast Buffet with Santa Claus at The Grill every Saturday after Thanksgiving to the Saturday before Christmas. Another option for breakfast is to order from The Grill’s delicious customary a la carte menu. The jolly Christmas guy in his red suit will be there, especially for family photos with him — magical photos to be shared for years to come. The Buffet Menu includes Steel Cut Oatmeal with Dried Fruit, Seasonal Fresh Sliced Fruit and Berries, Assorted Pastries, Individual Clover Yogurts, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Fluffy Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Potatoes, Chicken Breakfast Sausages and Cranberry, Grapefruit, Apple and Orange Juice.
