Spring in Napa also means revisiting outdoor fun from golf on two PGA championship golf courses and tennis. It’s the time to rejuvenate at the Spa, hit one of the nine tennis courts, play pickleball and bocce, enjoy a round or two of golf, attend golf and tennis camps and savor delicious, locally-sourced menus. Silverado Resort and Spa Easter Buffet
Sunday, April 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friends and families from the Napa Valley community along with Easter holiday destination travelers can visit Silverado Resort and Spa to savor its annual Easter Buffet — elegantly served in the Ballroom. The temptations start with breakfast muffins and pastries, buttermilk biscuits, sausage gravy and an Omelet Station with filling choices such as ham, asparagus, caramelized onions, mushrooms, roasted tomato salsa, cheeses and more. Smoked salmon with traditional accompaniments, seasonal fruit and berries, applewood smoked bacon, Bread Pudding French toast with whipped cream and maple syrup, Mascarpone Scrambled Eggs, Chef’s Quiche, Spring Pea Soup topped with crème fraîche and aromatic herbs will be featured breakfast foods. Also offered are artisanal cheeses with accompaniments, local and imported charcuterie boards with pickled vegetables and mustards and a tantalizing seafood display with prawns, oysters, snow crab claws, clams and scallop ceviche. Dishes that please all palates include Spring Panzanella Salad with snap peas, asparagus, arugula and goat cheese; Mixed Head Lettuces with fresh mozzarella and green goddess; Grilled Asparagus garnished with pancetta and almonds; Honey Glazed Ham, Slow Roasted Prime Rib; Ricotta Ravioli, Potato Puree; and Heirloom Baby Carrots with orange ginger glaze. Easter Sweets that will end the fabulous feast include assorted pies, cakes and petit fours. For the Kids: breaded chicken strips, pepperoni and cheese flatbreads, grilled cheese and French fries.

Easter Specials at The Grill
Available Sunday, April 9, 5 to 9 p.m.
The Grill will offer dinner specials on Easter Sunday, including a Green Garlic Soup with chive flowers; Slow Roasted Leg of Lamb served with buttered English peas, carrots, new potatoes and mint sauce; and Striped Sea Bass with asparagus and an edible nasturtium flowers salad tossed with Green Goddess dressing. The dessert special is Carrot Cake.

Easter Activities for the Kids
At the Mansion Circle, on Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Easter Bunny and complimentary Holiday Train will arrive for family guests to enjoy. On Sunday, April 9, at 11 a.m., there will be an Easter egg hunt for the youngest kids and another one at 11:30 a.m. for older kids. At 1 and 1:30 p.m., the egg hunts welcome brunch goers and resort guests only, held on the Gardens lawn adjacent to the Ballroom.
Spring Break Golf and Tennis Camps for Kids
Available April 3 to 5 and April 10 to 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At these special, three-day camps designed for ages six to 12 and led by award-winning instructors, participants learn leadership skills, racquet skills and the fundamentals of the short golf game and compete in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Adult Tennis Beginner Bootcamp
April 13 to 15
All beginner levels are welcome to a three-day comprehensive Silverado Tennis Beginner Bootcamp. The resort’s skilled yet approachable tennis professionals provide expert guidance and personal instruction on all the fundamentals in a fun, low stakes play format. Available to resort guests only.

Adult Backhands, Vines and Volleys Adult Tennis Camp
April 24 to 26
These popular adult tennis camps are guest favorites. Participants enjoy an energetic three-day experience that includes a wide variety of drills on groundstrokes, volleys, transitions, serves, returns and strategies, along with live ball, friendly match play and a bit of bubbly.

Golf Instruction
Silverado offers private lessons, playing lessons, family lessons and lessons for juniors — in 30-minute to two-hour increments. Also offered are adult instructional clinics designed to target specific areas for improvement. Instructors work closely with students to sharpen skills, learn new techniques, understand proper club selection and discover effective practice methods.
