Showcasing Curated Art Gallery, Live Music and Sips and Bites

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. — An oasis for art lovers, the Coachella Valley draws thousands of visitors each year to its numerous arts, music and food-filled festivals and events — from Modernism Week to Desert X. Capturing the essence of these high-profile events, Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa has introduced a new “mini arts festival” package designed exclusively for meeting planners.

According to director of sales and marketing Jacob Kendrick, the new program reflects the region’s ongoing celebration of arts and culture, as well as the resort’s focus on creating unique and memorable experiences to engage meeting guests. “The right meeting environment encourages camaraderie, collaboration and creativity, and we believe this new package is poised to achieve all three,” Kendrick said. “Beyond that, the package is just plain fun. Our new program has all the elements of the popular and much larger arts festivals so prevalent in the Coachella Valley — just on a smaller scale.”

As part of the mini-arts festival package, Renaissance Esmeralda meeting guests are welcomed to the resort’s large atrium, which has been transformed into an open-air gallery featuring local art and a live art demonstrations. Later, the event moves to The Place lobby bar, where meeting attendees can experience the resort’s Bar Ritual, sipping and savoring specialty cocktails created to vividly relate the story of the Coachella Valley through beverages — the Golden Hollywood Days and the Rat Pack Era and the year-round natural desert gardens that characterize the area.

The arts tribute culminates with an intimate mini-concert by various local artists. Throughout the performance, the bar will offer delicious appetizers and small bites prepared by the resort’s culinary team — highlighting the flavors and special products from the Coachella Valley.
