Collaborative Winemaker Dinners Featuring Distinctive Napa Wines with Menu Pairings Presented by Executive Chef Patrick Prager; Overnight Room Package Available
Silverado Resort and Spa, an iconic landmark resort in the heart of classic Napa Valley wine country, is pleased to launch a new series of winemaker dinners pairing exceptional regional wines with unique four-course dinners created by the resort’s executive chef Patrick Prager and his culinary team.
Beginning on Thursday, April 27, with featured wines from Faust, the upcoming wine dinners will be served in the Royal Oak private dining room overlooking the resort’s spectacular golf greens and Napa’s rolling hills. Each featured winery will send a winemaker to its special dinner to interact with guests and share pairing knowledge.
The schedule of wine dinners at Silverado Resort and Spa follows:
Faust
Thursday, April 27, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Saint Helena-based, Faust’s flagship wine is its refined, rich, full-bodied cabernet sauvignon. They will also pour their sauvignon blanc.
St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery
Friday, May 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.
St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery in Rutherford produces 100% estate-grown, certified Napa green wines, focusing on sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and other red Bordeaux varietals.
Silverado Vineyards
Thursday, July 20, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Silverado Vineyards is an iconic estate and hilltop winery in the Stags Leap District of Napa where it sustainably produces single-vineyard cabernet sauvignon, sauvignon blanc, merlot and chardonnay.
Hess Collection
Thursday, August 24, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Situated on the steep slopes of Mount Veeder, Napa, Hess Persson Estates is a family-owned and led winery known for its Hess Collection of luxury winemaking since 1978.
Trinchero Family Estates
Thursday, September 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Established in 1948 and based in St. Helena, the Trinchero portfolio is a family of more than 50 artisan-produced brands of wines and spirits ranging from pace setters to classic luxury bottlings.
ZD Wines
Thursday, October 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Since 1969, ZD Wines, located in scenic Rutherford, has been owned and operated by three generations of the deLeuze family. They organically farm world-class chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon.
Additional winemaker dinners with E. & J. Gallo Winery in June and others to close out the year are being planned.
