Silverado Resort and Spa joins the community in celebrating the Napa Valley Mustard Celebration held from January through March 2023 — a time to pay tribute to art, wine, and a celebration of the season — honoring the tiny yellow mustard plant that blankets the area with its beauty and also plays an essential role in the health of the hundreds of nearby vineyards. The mustard plants that bloom so magnificently during the season have been planted between vineyard rows as a cover crop to protect the soil and replenish nutrients, as well as having the benefit of attracting beneficial insects, staving off erosion and warding off grapevine pests.
Silverado Resort and Spa will be participating in the Napa Valley Mustard Celebration in several ways, and while guests come to enjoy the Mustard Specials and Events, they should plan their trips to include other Silverado attractions at this AAA Four Diamond Award Winner — including golf at two Robert Trent Jones championship courses, tennis at nine freshly refinished tennis courts, competition with friends at three new pickleball courts, outdoor bocce ball courts and daily fitness classes and visits to the mind/body movement studio.

Mustard Season Bar Bites

At Silverado Resort and Spa’s iconic Mansion Bar, guests can indulge in seasonal mustard-inspired bar bites, including Mustard Deviled Eggs with pickled mustard seeds and bacon, Prosciutto & Cheddar Grilled Cheese Bites with whole grain mustard and Sausage, Pepper & Potato Skewers with creamy mustard.
Mustard Season Spa Special Treatment
January 1 through March 31
At The Spa at Silverado Resort surrounded by tranquil garden courtyards and standout scenic Napa Valley views, a special mustard-inspired spa treatment will be offered only during mustard season. The Mustard Seed Body Scrub and Massage celebrates the benefits of natural ingredients and is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. The mustard seed sugar scrub leaves skin smooth and hydrated. The treatment is completed with a 50-minute Swedish massage using mustard seed oil to naturally warm and rejuvenate.

Flower Pressing Workshop at Silverado Resort and Spa
Saturday, February 4, from 11 a.m. to noon; registration open now
This hands-on, one-hour workshop is an activity for nature lovers ages 12 and older to create their own pressed flowers for beauty and fond Napa Valley memories.
