Highlighted by Innovative Mixology Inspired by the Winter Season

Selanne Steak Tavern has earned an admirable reputation for presenting exciting, fresh, bright and deliciously lovely crafted cocktails. The restaurant’s mixologists take up the challenge with each changing season to create and innovate — always showcasing premium liquors and the ingredients of the moment.

“Our six new winter drinks are refreshing and flavorful. Once again, the team has delivered dazzling works of cocktail art,” said general manager Chad Sisco. “Their names and ingredients are romantic and escapist oriented to transport guests to the future and warmer days ahead.”

Selanne Steak Tavern’s six new winter cocktails:

  • When Hearts Collide delights with Stoli Vanilla Vodka, crème de cacao, white chocolate liqueur, blackberry and raspberry. A delicious dessert cocktail.
  • Forbidden Love is composed of Bulleit Bourbon, passion fruit, lemon, agave and egg whites. It’s a frothy riff on the traditional whiskey sour — with a passion fruit twist.
  • Sunset Boulevard is a spin on the classic boulevardier made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Montenegro and cherry bitters. The Aperol and Amaro give it a nice sweetness, and its hues are reminiscent of a Laguna Beach winter sunset.
  • Island Dreamin’ concocted with Malibu Coconut Rum, Green Chartreuse, lime, pineapple and cinnamon simple is a delicious tiki-style cocktail that makes sippers feel like they’re in the tropics — vacation to the Caribbean?
  • Burning Red mixed with Don Julio Reposado Tequila, blood orange, lemon and agave is very colorful and citrusy, a splendid tequila masterpiece.
  • Wild Thoughts, a refreshing, fruitful play on a G&T, is made with Nolet’s Gin, Amaro Montenegro, Chambord, lemon, blackberry and Q grapefruit tonic.

Winter guests to Selanne Steak Tavern will appreciate staying cozy in this landmark retreat while sipping additional libations from the restaurant’s comprehensive Wine Spectator award-winning list, including a selection of special dessert wines and vintage ports, exceptional warming Burgundies, effervescent Champagnes and other sparklers.
