The culinary team at Terranea Resort invites guests to indulge in a lavish Thanksgiving Day culinary showcase set in the stunning Palos Verdes Grand Ballroom. With live music creating the perfect backdrop, families and friends can enjoy an abundant array of seasonal dishes at various gourmet stations. Highlights include housemade aromatic breads and pastries, a fresh fruit stand, autumn-inspired seasonal salads, and an impressive chilled seafood display complete with a striking ice sculpture. Guests will also find an assortment of cheeses and cured meats, a carving station featuring whole turkey with giblet gravy, and hot dishes like prime rib, roasted ham, salmon, and seasonal vegetables. To finish, the dessert station offers holiday pies, sweet croissants, and more. A Cider Station adds to the festive experience, delighting guests of all ages. Adult guests will receive a complimentary glass of champagne for a Thanksgiving toast, making the celebration even more special.

Award-winning Chef Fabio Ugoletti and his team have curated an exquisite three-course meal with a side, showcasing seasonal flavors and gourmet creations. For Course One, guests can choose from Pan-Fried Scallop with beluga lentils, fennel confit, orange segments, and mustard frills; Porcini Truffle Risotto with winter black truffles and parsley; Butternut Squash Soup with sunchoke chips and amaretti cookies; or Little Gem Lettuce with persimmon, radish, dried cranberries, walnuts, and green goddess dressing. Course Two presents options like Roasted Turkey Breast and Confit Thigh with cornbread stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and gravy; Braised Short Ribs with creamy polenta, broccolini, and spiced jus; Truffled Mushroom-Stuffed Cone Cabbage with pomegranate and beet coulis; or Pan-Seared Halibut with chowder sauce, mussels, clams, shrimp, red pearl onions, and red potatoes. Guests can also select a side dish from options like Brussels Sprouts with kale and sweet spicy pepper, Mashed Potatoes with roasted garlic, Glazed Carrots with maple syrup and pecans, or Cauliflower Gratin with toasted almonds and chives. The third course features decadent desserts for the table, including Chocolate Ganache Tart with pomegranate and pistachio gelato, Pumpkin Cremeux with sticky toffee pudding and Chantilly cream, and an Apple and Hazelnut Macaron with salted caramel sauce. Grateful friends and family will gather for a bountiful Thanksgiving feast at catalina kitchen, set against a stunning coastal backdrop. The buffet offers something for everyone, starting with an expansive Raw Bar featuring a variety of favorite shellfish. The restaurant’s brick oven will delight younger guests with pizzas and flatbreads, while the Carving Station serves up traditional Thanksgiving entrees such as Turkey, Prime Rib, and Ham. Guests can also enjoy charcuterie, seasonal fruits, and vegetable-centric main dishes. To end on a sweet note, the dessert station will feature an array of treats, including crepes, classic pies, cakes, and other sweet surprises. Two festive cocktails, the Sippin’ Pear Spritz ($19) and The Grand ($22), will also be available for toasting.

Terranea Resort invites guests to indulge in a trio of Thanksgiving dining specials at its scenic coastal restaurants on Thursday, November 28. Nelson’s, known for its casual California fare and oceanfront patio, will offer a Fried Turkey Leg with mashed potatoes, gravy, and sausage stuffing for $34, followed by a decadent Cranberry Curd Tart. At bashi, Terranea’s contemporary Asian-inspired eatery, guests can enjoy Turkey Shoyu Ramen for $30, a Gingersnap Cocktail with Kikori Japanese Whiskey for $21, and aChai Pumpkin Pie for $15. Lastly, the Lobby Bar will feature a Crispy Fried Turkey Thigh Sandwich on grilled rye bread with crunchy cabbage slaw and spiced cranberry marmalade for $40, alongside a selection of seasonal desserts including Caramelized Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, and Pecan Pie, each priced at $15.
