THE “NEW” CAMELBACK RESORT REOPENS BERRELLI’S AS AN ITALIAN CHOPHOUSE
Other New Food & Drink Stops: Graffiti Pizza, Sugar Shack and Food Trucks
Camelback Resort announces the reopening of local favorite Berrelli’s as Berrelli’s Italian Chophouse — scenically located at the base of Camelback Mountain — just a short walk, shuttle ride or ski-in/ski-out access. Berrelli’s is open for lunch and dinner year-round and offers locals and resort guests indoor dining in its A-frame rustic wood-beamed dining room with floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows, subtle lighting and wooden furniture or seating on its expansive heated patios with stunning mountain views.
The “new” Berrelli’s has revamped its menu and its impressive global wine list and features prime dry-aged chops and steaks, pastas, small plates and salads, seafood and the chef’s choice tiramisu gelato. Some of the offerings for the whole family’s enjoyment include Antipasto Salad, Fettucine Alfredo with shrimp and crab, Branzino, Berrelli’s Signature Burger, Grilled 8oz Prime Filet and Chicken Parmesan. Tempting special supplements and sauces for steaks and chops are Au Poivre, Gorgonzola Crust, Bordelaise, Bearnaise, Oscar Style and Truffle Butter. Lunch and dinner are served on weekends and dinner on weekdays. Dining is until 10pm. OpenTable reservations are suggested.
Downstairs from the restaurant is a speakeasy-vibe game room for playing pool, darts and shuffleboard. Its adult refreshments include high-end local Farm House Saison PA Beer, wines by the glass, cigars and wine pairings enjoyed outside on the patio, five selections of half yards of beer and a gourmet burger menu with eight options including a wagyu burger. The downstairs hangout also offers sports viewing on its six TV screens. It’s open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until midnight.
Camelback also recently refreshed Graffiti Pizza located in the Lodge — and partnered with former NFL running back Baron Batch, turned artist. Graffiti is fun and arty with Batch’s custom graffiti art, based on the street style of the 70s and 80s. The place pops with color and energy and presents Build Your Own Pizzas with upgrades of rising, gluten free and cauliflower crust. It also has Signature Sandwiches of chicken, meatball or veggie parm, Mediterranean and Caesar salads and pasta.
More sweetness can now be found at the new Sugar Shack located in the Lodge on the lower level of the Arcade featuring a playful, colorful abstract wall mural and plenty of pleasing sweet candies and confectioneries.
In addition, there are new food trucks and a drinks trailer strategically set-up near snow activity sights. Authentic street tacos are the outdoor fare at Tacos & Beer Food Truck at Camelback Mountain Village. Near snowtubing activity, outdoor enthusiasts can satisfy their hunger and thirst at On A Roll Food Truck and at Tap It! Draft Beverage Trailer.
